Furniture storage that beats Bahrain's heat and humidity

The real threat to stored furniture in Bahrain isn't theft — it's the air. Humid air grows mold on sofas, warps wood, and stains fabric. That's why every one of our units — not a premium tier — is air-conditioned and dehumidified around the clock, with sensors tracking temperature and humidity. Whether you're between homes, renovating, leaving the country for a while, or your flat simply has no room left, your furniture waits in cool, dry air and comes out the way it went in.

Built for furniture

Safe from heat and mold

AC and dehumidifiers run 24/7 in every unit, with sensors on temperature and humidity — so wood, fabric, and mattresses stay dry.

The only key to your unit is yours

Each unit is individually locked, with CCTV and an alarm system covering the facility.

Month to month

No deposit, no admin fees, no lock fee — and the rate you sign at is frozen for two years, whether you store for one month or ten.

What furniture storage costs per month

You need less space than you think: wardrobes, mattresses, and sofas can all stand upright, so the furniture of a one-bedroom flat fits a medium unit — from BHD 38.75 a month. A full family home fits a large unit. The published price is the whole bill — no deposit, no admin fees, no lock fee — and you rent by the month, so six weeks of renovation costs you two months' rent, not a year's lease. Monthly prices in BHD are on the storage units page.

How it works

Rent the unit first

Availability is live on this site — pick a size, sign, and pay online in minutes, and you can move in the same day. Book the unit before you book the mover, so the furniture has somewhere to go on truck day.

Moving day

Bring a pickup, or send any furniture mover in Bahrain — movers deliver straight into the unit: tell them 'Wadaya Self Storage, Tubli' and they'll find us on Google Maps. Park at the unit door, wheel everything in on our trolleys, and lock up with your own key — staff are on site during access hours. Can't be there yourself? Anyone you trust with your key can open the unit for the movers.

While it's stored

Come whenever you like during access hours — you can take things out or bring more in whenever you need.

When you take it back

Empty the unit and end the contract online in the same month. If the renovation runs long or the posting gets extended, you don't need to do anything — the contract continues at the same rate.

How to pack furniture for storage

Wrap wood right

What you wrap furniture in decides how it comes back out:

  • Moving blankets or bubble wrap on wood — never cling film straight on the surface; it traps moisture against the finish
  • Take apart what you can: beds, tables, and wardrobes store flat and safe. Tape screws and fittings in a bag to the piece they belong to
  • Cushions and fabrics go in breathable bags, not sealed plastic

Stack with care

Stand sofas on their feet, never on their arms. Lay mattresses flat or stand them fully supported — a leaning mattress warps within weeks. Keep heavy boxes off the upholstery, and leave a small air gap between pieces so air can move.

The night before

Wipe every piece clean and dry — dust left on furniture slowly turns into stains. Empty the drawers and dry them, and photograph your best pieces so you have a record of their condition.

No room for it at home?

Not every stored sofa is part of a move. Sometimes it's the majlis set from the family house, the bedroom you replaced but want to keep, or wedding furniture bought before the new flat is ready. A unit gives those pieces a cool, dry room of their own — and gives you your rooms back.

Rent it by the month for as long as the furniture needs a home. And when you finally have the room for it, bring everything back in one trip.

Furniture storage questions

It depends on how much furniture you have: a one-bedroom flat's furniture fits a medium unit, and a full home needs a large one. Monthly BHD prices are published on the storage units page, and the published price is the whole bill — no deposit, no admin fees, no lock fee.

Yes. Your unit is individually locked and you hold the only key, CCTV and an alarm system cover the facility around the clock, and AC with dehumidifiers protects wood and fabric from heat and damp.

Take apart what you can, wrap wood in blankets or bubble wrap rather than cling film on the surface, stand sofas on their feet, and leave a small air gap between pieces. The packing guide above goes through it step by step.

No — we're self storage. Any mover in Bahrain can deliver your furniture straight into your unit and bring it home again later: tell them 'Wadaya Self Storage, Tubli' and they'll find us on Google Maps.

Yes — you hold the key, so come whenever you like during access hours: take out what you need and bring back what you don't.

Yes — one month is the minimum and there's no maximum. The contract runs month to month, so a six-week renovation and an open-ended posting both work.

Browse sizes and prices on the site, then book and pay online in minutes — or visit us in Tubli and the facility manager will help you choose. Bring your CPR or passport to sign.

We're open during regular business hours. For the latest hours — including holiday changes — check our Google Maps listing.
