Storage between homes

Handover dates never line up: the old flat empties before the new one is ready, and everything you own suddenly needs somewhere to wait. A temporary storage unit holds all of it for exactly those weeks — and you can have one today: availability is live on this site, booking takes minutes, and you can move in the same day.

Made for moving

Move in today

Every unit's availability is live — rent online in minutes, and the unit is yours the same day the truck is loaded.

The truck unloads at the door

Drive right up, park at the unit, and wheel everything straight in on our trolleys.

Pay only for the months you need

Month to month with no deposit and no fees — when the new place is ready, just move out.

The move week, start to finish

Book before the truck

Rent the unit online as soon as you know the dates — the unit number and access details are yours immediately, and the unit is ready whenever the truck comes.

Truck day

Bring your own pickup or send the movers — any movers and packers or removals company in Bahrain can deliver straight into your unit: tell them 'Wadaya Self Storage, Tubli' and they'll find us on Google Maps. Park at the door, unload onto trolleys, and lock up with your own key. Can't be there yourself? Whoever you trust with your key can let the movers in.

New-home day

Empty the unit and end the contract online in the same month. If the handover is delayed again, you don't need to do anything — the contract continues, month to month, until you're ready.

What it costs

The furniture and boxes from a one-bedroom flat fit in a medium unit — from BHD 38.75 a month. A two- or three-bedroom home needs a large unit. You need less space than you think: fridges, wardrobes, and mattresses can all stand upright, so a whole home packs into a few square metres. And because the contract is monthly, a six-week gap costs you one or two months of rent — far less than paying for two homes at the same time. Monthly prices are on the units page.

Pack for storage, not just transport

Boxes that survive stacking

A box that survives the truck ride can still collapse after a month in a stack:

  • Heaviest boxes on the floor, lighter ones up — never the reverse
  • Fill boxes completely; half-empty boxes crush under the weight above
  • Label every box by room, so unpacking at the new place takes an evening instead of a weekend

Furniture and appliances

Store fridges defrosted, dry, and upright — never lying down. Stand sofas and mattresses on their ends under breathable covers, and pad the edges where the moving straps pressed.

Leave a walkway

At some point you'll need something — winter clothes, the kids' toys, one document. Keep a walkway to the back of the unit, put the things you might need near the door, and load them last. And passports, documents, and valuables don't go into storage at all — they stay with you.

Renovating, not moving?

A unit works just as well during a renovation: your furniture stays out of the dust and paint for a few weeks, in air-conditioned space instead of a garage or under a plastic sheet. Rent it for the length of the work and bring everything back when the house is clean — month to month, same as a move.

Downsizing to a smaller place?

When the new home is smaller than the old one, a unit gives you time: move everything in, live in the new place for a while, and decide slowly what to keep. Sell, give away, or bring back the rest at your own pace — nothing has to be decided on moving day.
