Student storage for summer and semester breaks

The semester ends, the room has to be empty, and the flight home is booked — and a dorm room's worth of boxes, books, and a bicycle needs somewhere to wait until September. A small storage unit takes all of it, by the month, at a published price: book it online in minutes, and end it the month you're back.

What a summer of storage costs

The smallest lockers start at BHD 17 a month, and a dorm room clear-out usually fits in one: boxes, suitcases, books, and a bicycle in about 1.5–2 m². Three months of summer is three months' rent — no deposit, no admin fees, nothing on top — and if two or three of you share one unit, you split that number too. Monthly prices in BHD are on the storage units page.

Made for semester breaks

Small units, small bills

The smallest lockers hold a full dorm clear-out — you pay for a couple of square metres, not a garage.

Share one unit with friends

One unit on one contract holds two or three people's things — the key moves between you, and how you split the cost is up to you.

Book it and end it from your phone

Rent and pay online, move in the same day, and end the contract online the month you're back — even if you're still abroad when you do it.

Moving out, step by step

Book the unit before exams end

Availability is live on this site — pick the smallest size that fits, sign, and pay in minutes. The unit is yours the same day, so you can clear the room in one trip or over a week.

Get it there without a truck

A dorm room fits in one or two car trips — your car, a friend's, or a taxi. Park right at the unit door, wheel everything in on our trolleys, and lock up with your own key.

While you're home

There's nothing to do: the rent charges to your card monthly, and the AC and dehumidifiers run the whole summer. Need something from the unit? Anyone you trust with the key can pick it up during access hours.

When you're back

Empty the unit and end the contract online in the same month. Staying abroad another semester? Do nothing — it continues month to month at the same rate.

The end-of-semester pack-up

Pack like it's coming back out

Future-you unpacks these boxes in September:

  • Boxes, not bin bags — bags tear, slump, and can't stack
  • Books flat in small boxes; one big book box is unliftable
  • Label by desk/wardrobe/kitchen so re-setup takes an evening

The mini-fridge rule

Defrost it two days before storage and dry it completely — a damp fridge sealed shut for a summer is a mold experiment. Store it with the door ajar.

Sharing with friends

Pick one contract holder — that's who's responsible for the unit — split the cost between you, and pack each person's things in their own labeled boxes so the September pickup doesn't need everyone there at once.

Yes — everything from renting to ending is online. And if you stay away longer, you don't need to do anything: the contract continues month to month at the same rate.

Yes — your unit is individually locked and you hold the only key, CCTV and an alarm cover the building, and AC with dehumidifiers runs all summer against heat and mold.
